Memphis, May 10, 2022 – High Expectations Aerial Arts presents an Open House at their new location at 319 Cumberland Street, Memphis, TN on June 11 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Free classes for adults and kids, giveaways, short performances, and informational sessions will be presented throughout the day.
High Expectations was originally founded by Danielle Bayliss in 2014. Danielle recognized the opportunity to build an aerial arts school in the city of Memphis, TN, and transitioned the studio from a portable rig in her backyard to a location in the Broad Arts District.
In 2019, Sarah Bolton took over the management of the studio. Nine months later, COVID-19 rocked the entire planet, and the future of the studio became uncertain. With the support of students and the greater Memphis community, the studio survived the past two years and is now proud to announce expansion into a large new space in the Broad Avenue Arts District.
“Like many small businesses, we had a tough couple of years,” says Sarah Bolton, owner. “Expanding into a new, big space and really starting to grow circus arts in the Memphis area is such an incredible moment for us. We look forward to hosting this event to welcome Memphis to our new space!”
